The Club has a large function room called ‘The Estuary Suite’ which is available for Club functions and also used by members for birthday parties and other celebrations and activities.

The Estuary Suite is used extensively by local Community Groups; by day, for ‘Keep Fit’, Yoga, Home Sweet Home Day Centre, and in the evenings Club meetings by Leigh on Sea Lions Club, Hoy at Anchor Folk Group, Make a Noise Choir, Westcliff-on-Sea Cricket Club, International German Club, Marine Estate Residents Group, Patients Participation Group of Highland Surgery. and other local groups. Charitable fund raising events are arranged by organisations such as Alzheimers’ Society, Endeavour Trust of Leigh on Sea, and similar charities. In addition to the functions held by The Estuary Club and its members The Estuary Suite is also available to hire for private functions, parties and wakes.

As a club we actively seek other organisations and groups who support the local community to use The Estuary Suite for the benefit of local residents and is available for other community based activities that may be an antidote to loneliness and depression, The Estuary Club, supports ‘Silverline’ and ‘The Campaign to End Loneliness’ e.g. Home Sweet Home Day Centre meet mid- morning more than once each week and provide both entertainment and a meal for the group.
